Tell you more about myself

• Chinese origin: I speak Mandarin, Shanghainese and Cantonese and I write Chinese.
• English speaking people swallow the second part of my name and call me Choi-, Chinese speaking people swallow the first part of my name and call me -Hong, and so far the best pronounciation, from a non-Chinese speaking people, of my name Choi-Hong comes from German, Italian and Scandinavian (including Suomi) speaking people.
• My parents and ancestors came from Jiangsu Province - Wuxi, Eastern China.
• I was born in Hong Kong.
• I studied at Mary of Providence Primary School, Tsuen Wan.
• I finished my secondary school in 1974 and A levels in 1976 at St Francis Xavier's School, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. You can read some history of the School.
• Married with a son and a daughter.
• I practised martial art/karate when I was young. My last public performance was in 1984.
• I like swimming, table-tennis, badminton, Chinese chess and marble chess.
• I teach Chinese language on Sundays at Waltham Forest Chinese Association Sunday Chinese School to mostly BBC (British Born Chinese) children.
